OSMOSI, the first album of the project that includes FABIO MARCONI, IVO BARBIERI e ALBERTO PEDERNESCHI, is characterized by a Mediterranean matrix with a peculiar eye to the East, and a jazz-rock psychedelic language. A stream of sound built around Eeastern ancient soundscapes in a timeless space.

The musical project centred on Fabio Marconi, Ivo Barbieri and Alberto Pederneschi, marks its recording debut with a cd that takes the same name: Osmosi. A Mediterranean sound which looks to the East with a psychedelic jazz-rock look. Incarnation is a contemplation of energy evolving in physical substance, of intentions becoming reality, a Genesis giving birth to Yaram Sızlar Ağrır Başım, piece inspired by a traditional tune from Şanlıurfa, town in south east of Turkey, the fretless guitar played with the ebow gives an abstract and dreamy flavor to the music.
Soundscape I A voice develops a self consciousness exploring the space around it, from a sparse sound to a scream, opening for Elif Dedim Be Dedim, another tune inspired by a traditional Turkish piece from the area of Kütahya, Western Turkey, the drums played with naked hands palms and brushes a long theme played on guitar and an hypnotic riff by the bass, give to the tune a mantra-like color.
Soundscape II, with its gongs and metal plates introduces Kırmızı Paltolu Kız, a composition by Turkish pianist Yiğit Özatalay is an intense and dramatic melody that only at the end finds in the long awaited freedom.

A short Taksim in F major is the prelude for Eklil, composition by the Tunisian singer and instrumentalist Dhaffer Youssef. Long and complex part, originally played with oud, here transcribed for guitar with bass counterpoint and drums played with naked hands (no sticks).

Besa Shqiptare, a composition from the Albanian tradition celebrating Besa, the trustable word, it opens with slow bass lines creating the frame for the drums to paint sparse images at increasing speed images to a climax dissolved in a black hole.

Last Ubiquity. Where individuality fuses with the timeless. Definitely lost in a place that is not a place, in a suspended time; only a few distant echoes.
