Spi and La Gaudriole are back with their second album, bringing on their experimented mix of folk dances, tied with the ancient but still alive Occitan culture, performed with a punk, fiery attitude, in which tradition rhymes with evolution. Once again, at the centre there is dance, seen as an unavoidable moment of individual emancipation, but also as an important factor of social, or tribal, cohesion. Special mention for the lyrics by Spi, more and more biting, outrageous and full humour: definitely one of the best French songwriters of the last 20 years.
