Gino Paoli and Danilo Rea were already fellow adventurers in the project Un incontro in Jazz, of which Parco della Musica Records released the album for the "Auditorium Recording Studio" series, they are now back together for a new album. Due come noi che… is a valuable example of how two absolute artists can interpret in an innovative way some classics in the history of Italian music. Solo piano and voice, just Daniele and Gino, only their ability to chase, to distance and find themselves on a road that is that one of the most beautiful songs of our heritage.

The most popular songs by Gino, from "Averti addosso" to "Il cielo in una stanza", from "Vivere ancora" to "Perduti" through "La gatta" and "Come si fa", together with pearls tracks of the Genoese singer-songwriters, who are Gino's friends of a lifetime: "Canzone dell’amore perduto" and "Bocca di Rosa" (instrumental) by De André, "Il nostro concerto" by Umberto Bindi, "Vedrai Vedrai" byTenco and "Se tu sapessi"by Bruno Lauzi. In the track list also "Non and are via" Italian translation of the wonderful "Ne me quitte pas" as Jacques Brel asked to translate to Paoli.

Gino Paoli, one of the songwriters who wrote some of the most beautiful pages of Italian music. The author of "Senza fine", "Sapore di sale", “La gatta” born in Monfalcone, is in Genoa, where he moved as a child, Gino Paoli - after working as a porter, graphic and painter - that debuted as a dance hall singer, then forming a rock band with friends Luigi Tenco and Bruno Lauzi. When the glorious label Ricordi, who had held a baptism Bellini and Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini, decided to extend its business to pop music, and signed the strangly whining voice singer, now recognized as one of the greatest representatives of Italian music of the sixties and seventies. Gino Paoli wrote and performed songs like TIl cielo in una stanza, La gatta, Senza fine, Sapore di sale, Una lunga storia d'amore, Quattro amici, he participated in several editions of the Sanremo Festival, he has collaborated with several colleagues to the realisation of albums and hit singles, and has composed movie soundtracks.

Danilo Rea managed to attract the attention of listeners mainly due to the his versatility and the open attitude of his music. After his classical piano studies at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome and his experience as a musician in the world of progressive rock, Danilo debuted in the world of jazz with the "Trio of Rome" in 1975, achieving international fame. His music is full of surprising moments of improvisation of great lyricism that made the critics recall the great Keith Jarrett. However, unlike the American star, Rea draws its inspiration from the musical traditions of his native land, from classical and Italian pop, rather than the "Great American Songbook". So it is not surprising that in Italy he is considered as the greatest poet among jazz musicians who became famous playing with many songwriters and singers like Claudio Baglioni, Domenico Modugno,Gianni Morandi, Pino Daniele and Mina.
