Formed in 1987, the Hedningarna (Pagans) are a Swedish group (and for some years partly Finnish) of popular music, which mixes electronics and rock with elements from old Scandinavian folk music. They blend a form of traditional Sami song with the use of ancient instruments rarely used in current Swedish folk music and rock and new sounds.
In the course of his long career have collected collaborations with musical and theatrical companies. They started touring around the world performing in front of crowds and received honors of all kinds reaching even to climb the charts in London. The new album "&" celebrates 25 years of this band that, despite several internal vicissitudes that have occurred over time, continues to tread the stage with the same energy unchanged adolescence
