Valdmir in the liner notes wirtes: «The tracks on this album are a collection of my best songs, new and old. For a long time I wanted to put these songs on the CD, recording them in solo versions, without other musicians or singers. Each piece is dedicated to someone or something, either explicitly or for personal reasons. Complete the recording two songs: one is a tribute to the great virtuoso genius of Russian Nikolay Rimskiy-Korsakov and the other is by my myth, the Soviet bajan player Viktor Gridin.

The tracks on this album are a collection of my best songs, new and old. For a long time I wanted to put these songs on the CD, recording them in solo versions, without other musicians or singers. Each piece is dedicated to someone or something, either explicitly or for personal reasons. Chasing Ogres and Falling Moon are the musical representation of my Russian soul and, indirectly, dedicated to my Russia. My Little Alex is dedicated to my grandson, Anastasia to my daughter, Solitudine to my wife Elena and Luciana's Dream to my former girlfriend Luciana. Nostalgia and Speranza (Hope) are self-explanatory. It is a music full of feelings, passions and pains but also of hope and joy. Two other songs are a tribute to the great virtuoso genius of Russian Nikolay Rimskiy-Korsakov and my myth, the Soviet player bajan Viktor Gridin.

Vladimir Denissenkov was born in Chernovtsy (former USSR, now Ukraine) in 1956. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in 1979. He won the accordion world contest in Caracas in 1981. From 1981 to 1990 Vladimir performed with the Moscow Philharmonic.
He has performed in 40 countries around the world including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, England, Norway, Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland.
Since 1995 he has worked Italy as a performer, both as a soloist, with artistic collaborations with top class musicians, including Fabrizio De André, Moni Ovadia, Ludovico Einaudi, Italian comedians Ale e Franz and with several important actor in theater productions.
