For over two hundred years, Auvergne music and dances have been present in Paris as well as in the Massif Central region. Flor de Zinc features the cabretaire (Auvergne-bagpipe player) and violinist Michel Esbelin, the accordionist Ludovic Rio and the banjoist Olivier Sulpice. Well-known amongst Auvergne music lovers, Miche notably plays with the band Les Costauds de la Lune. Ludovic learnt musette accordion in Loudéac (Haute Bretagne) and is a member of several folk and fest noz bands. Olivier has a passion for Irish music, and is a member of the French band Debout sur le Zinc.
