A very refined work, rich in historical and cultural references, this album in 70 minutes tries to tell the story of a land, of its rites, of the colours of its language, the charm of its music, the sounds and the noise of the feasts. It is really one of the best works dedicated to the music of the so called “Quattro Province”, an area comprised between four provinces,  Alessandria, Pavia, Genova e Piacenza.  The carnival, the story of Eve, the wedding, the spring rites, are all chapters of this popular tale, in which old, nearly forgotten traditions are evoked through the music. The CD conntains a 36 page booklet, with  lyrics, notes and translations, illustrated with beautiful photographs of the landscape and of the protagonist of this wonderful record.
