Ethnos is a musical project centered around the musical traditions of Basilicata (South Italy) presenting nursery rhymes, devotional songs, tarantellas and dance tunes in an original, contemporary format. Ethnos is in balance between two banks, from one side the tradition, the popular roots, on the other the modern sounds that too often destroy the original spirit of the music. Her the group has been able to mantain this equilibrium giving new life to an heritage that is slowly disappearing.
