"Jamm” is the first album in five years of one of the most preminent artist of the African scene, the Senegalese sufi troubadour Cheikh Lô. Thism is the most personal and ambitious project from his debut in 1996 with “Ne la Thiass”, produced by Youssou N’Dour. A World Circuit artist, with Jamm Cheikh Lo mixes West – Africa and Cuban sounds with acoustic funk and flamenco. A mosaic between two continents where his raucous voice generates musical moments of pure emotions.
