Soundtrack of the stage play, the album La 500 gialla (The yellow 500, the smallest and most legendary FIAT car) revisits the music the Italian years 60's and early 70's through the songs of the most significant songwriters of that period.
Who in those years has never ridden a 500 (often yellow), has turned on a radio or a tape recorder (almost always with a far from perfect connection) and has not traveled, dreamed and loved with that soundtrack? NUVOLEINCANTO wants the listeners to relive those feelings, giving the mostly beat songs new life with arrangements ranging from tango to progressive atmosphere of the barrio, from ballad to pop rock to finish with folk and fusion.
Enhancing the work of the band fine contributions of important Italian artists such as Eugenio Finardi (here engaged in a funny reinterpretation of his hit Radio), guitar players Beppe Gambetta, master of flatpickin', and Paolo Bonfanti, bluesman among the most popular and well respected, Fabio Rinaudo of Birkin Tree, Roberto Tiranti Labyrinth's leading group of Metal made in Italy, here in a touching La Guerra di Piero, ending with jazz sax of Fabio Bearzatti, engaged in a historic song by Area Gioia e Rivoluzione. Aboard La 500 gialla, symbol and icon of that time, widely known songs can be enjoyed such as Dio é morto, 29 Settembre, E’ la pioggia che va as well as authors like Sergio Endrigo, Luigi Tenco, Pino Donaggio.
