Hailing from lands whose history has seen, over the centuries, to impose women the discretion as one of their main requirements and where polyphony is an important tradition, the five members of the group Évasion gave voice to the cry of protest arose from the other half of the sky. Their collaboration goes back to childhood: they shared the same classroom and are grown in the same seedy neighborhood. After attending a singing school, with the eclecticism of their origins (Laurence Giorgi Italy, Portugal for Anne-Marie and Nathalie Ferreira, Algeria for Soraya Esseid and Brittany for Gwenaëlle Baudin) they decided to build their first show, on the bicentennial of the French Revolution, with songs of rebellion and protest from the Mediterranean basin. Since then it has been a succession of successes. Due to their communicative energy they will take you on a cosmopolitan world, realistic, and sometimes a little raw but you will certainly wish to start exploring those countries discovered through their songs.
