At the forefront of contemporary acoustic music, Pekka Lehti (bass) and Markku Lepisto (accordion), have a great sense of musical dialogue and know how to create a game between the sounds of their matrix Nordic blending jazz and beyond. Lepisto takes a Astor Piazzola's nostalgic atmosphere of sinuous tango as 'Skrubu' while Lehti is lapping jazz atmospheres. Their Värrtinä folk past is playing a key role in creating soundscapes Nordic absolutely fascinating.
