It seems almost superfluous to write the liner notes for a presentation of a Giora Feidman's new CD. Most important, the most popular klezmer clarinet player in the field, with assets of dozens of album releases and a more than brilliant career, was born in Buenos Aires in 1936 by a family of refugees who escaped the racial persecution. The young Giora, who moved to Israel has continued the art of family that for generations was devoted to music and performed in every official occasion (weddings, parties, religious ceremonies, ect.). He has been the youngest member of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Israel. Among Giora Feidman important collaborations in music the realization of the soundtrack of the film Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg. 'Very Klezmer' can not fail to fascinate fans of the genre and newbies!
