Joanne McIver, who was born on the little island of Arran, on the south-western coast of Scotland, is back with a new work in which her bagpipes once again meet the silvery cascades of notes form the harp of French artist Christophe Sauniere. The two have already worked together in other productions, and they constitute a brilliant duo, well adjusted by many European tours. This new CD, is centred upon a story created by Joanne, about three mehaliths on a beach of the Arran island. A story which mixes legend, history and fantasy, which lives thank to the magic notes of a wonderful music and to the drawings of Scotish artist Victoria Millroy, which embellish the booklet of the CD.
