After a decade of international tours, Silverio Pessoa, whose undeniable charisma has captivated audiences everywhere with his new album has struck the right balance between authenticity and participation. Born in the heart of Pernambuco, in Brazil, where it blooms forrò rhythm, Silverio Pessoa spent his childhood and adolescence among the cane cutters sharing joys and sorrows scanned daily by the sound of local instruments: accordion, Zabumba (typical percussion) and triangle, acquiring so a thorough knowledge of its people and its culture of belonging. If in a previous album paid tribute to one of the masters of the genre, Jacinto Silva, playing the verve and authenticity of the forrò practiced in the country, this new work shows the total openness towards other cultures and minority groups of which echoes presenting with the usual political commitment in defense of cultural diversity, even rock and electronic sounds. "Collectiu / Encontros Occitans", this project has a name that brings a feeling of victory, of collective achievement and is one of the most successful synthesis of interaction between different groups due to the complicity of friends as Massilia Sound System, Moussu T and Lei Jovents, La Talvera, Fabulous Trobadors, Rita Macedo, Bombes 2 Bal, La Mal Coiffée and Nux vomica, among others.
